My name is Charlie. I have 20+ years experience in the art of wooden floor restoration & staining. I am the person that will carry out the sanding process for you, if that’s what you decide you want. It will be me that will come around to your home or premises to inspect your floor for an estimate and advise you on any queries you may have.

A little about me
I started out as a carpenter and antique furniture restorer, doing wood carving in my spare time. I then spent 10 years as a carpenter in Germany. My work was carried out in many homes and premises in Dortmund. I moved to Ireland in the 1990’s, and since that time I have become one of the most requested and respected floor restoration experts in the country.
I love working with wood and have a magnitude of respect for trees. Where would we be without them? I don’t lay new floors, only odd boards when needed. Instead, I strive to restore original floors and refrain from being responsible for the loss of existing forests wherever possible, but if you have engineered floors I will restore them for you. Over the 15 or more years I have specialised in floor sanding, I have perfected my own special techniques which create a very professional, great looking floor. I use only the highest quality materials for every restoration I perform.
I am considerate and sensitive to your house being your ‘home’. I will not leave your home in dusty, or in any mess, during or after the work is done. I am dedicated to quality work. My reputation has grown organically throughout Ireland from satisfied customer recommendations as a result of my commitment to quality.

Our Philosophy
With over 10 years experience in the flooring industry, we have worked with many different types of wooden floors. Throughout the years, by resolving many difficulties that we encounter in restoring floors, we figured out that providing high quality craftsman and using the latest equipment on the market is, on its own, not enough. The essential factor is the depth of experience we have acquired in finding the best solution to suit each set of customer circumstances, and to resolve any problem.
We will provide a clear explanation of the work required and an easy to understand quote. For businesses that do not want any downtime or impact on their daily business, we are happy to work outside of normal hours.
